Cash for a Cause and a Brighter Future

Over this past holiday season, Computer Frontiers Inc. gave each staff person $100 to give away those in need. All of the employees where touched by this opportunity to give, as well as the various recipients who received the donation. The heartwarming stories will be shared in hope that those who read and hear of the acts of kindness will be blessed by it too.

Please read below about a family from Uganda that Yvonne of CFI staff chose to give the money to.

 JOY’S STORY

Just a few years into their relationship with two daughters; Chosen (3 years) and Queen (6 months), Joy Kamukama (22 years) and her partner were separated by death. With two children to fend for and little income to go by, Joy moved her little daughters into a one roomed house in the slums of Kanyogoga and tried starting up a small food restaurant at her home.

However, Queen her youngest fell ill with a complicated disease. She got free medical services from a Kampala City Council medical center in Namwongo, Kampala but had to see specialists and also buy medicine that dug a hole in her business. Queen passed on in November and Joy was thrown out of her house due to lack of money for rent. She puts up with a friend a one roomed house in Kanyogoga Slum with no income to take care of Chosen. Hopefully, the charity fund will help her rebuild her life and give her daughter a brighter future. Thank you very much Computer Frontiers International, am really glad to be part of this cause to change people’s lives.
